Thanks Motor. It's taking longer than I thought, there was a lot of stuff stuck and a lot of rough edges that needed smoothing. I'm finally starting to get the pile of parts on it lol.

Seems like everything I touch is frozen. I think the only things that moved was the carriage and the cross slide and they didn't move full travel. The compound rest and angle adjustment was completely frozen as was every piece on the taper attachment and everything in the tail stop, the adjustment, vertical slides, lock, drill shaft, drill shaft lock, and drill. It would be nice if at least one thing worked on the tail stop. Yeah it's starting to get to me a little lol. >(
The good news is once everything is freed up, cleaned up and reassembled it is as tight and smooth as new. It's getting closer but this thing is coming at great cost to my sleep.

It is mostly done. I need to get a clockwise rotation or bi-directional motor because I'm not putting the mess back on there that came on it. There's still a few things to do but at least the marathon part is over.

Here's what it looked like 5 days ago, and you can see the motor mess. It would give some nasty head bumps.

The only thing left was to find an older reversible motor and I got it this morning. I was talking to dad and told him I wanted an older motor to that would look right with the old lathe and he said he had them all over the farm in the old feeders, conveyors and such that weren't used anymore.
Rhodes, dad and I went to the farm this morning and picked out an old 220V reversible 2hp that ran a 170' long belt feeder off of the main silos. It runs great and is quiet as new. Dad donated the motor to the cause, I just have to get it cleaned up.
