Throttle shaft bushing fix was created by Trouty56
Be pulling a few carbs for rebuilds this year and if the throttle shaft is loose am going to try this.....

Info from the video...."THE THRUST BEARING IS 1/4 X 7/16 X 1/16 THICK BRONZE AND THE SCREWS ARE 3-48 X 1/4 BRASS,"

Guess he used a drill press for convenience to set the bronze thrust bearing.....quick and easy.....little loctite....



Tried to put some ebay link in.....no go!!!

I think Major has done this on a carb, someone around here has. :)

Great tip Bob and it really works well. Done a couple of them using 2 Hillman 58087-A 1/4 x 7/16 x 1/16 bronze thrust bearings stacked in the recess. A single would probably work okay but @ $.80 ea from Ace Hardware doubling them up seemed like a good idea.
