We will be moving (Yesterday)

Gonna speed things up a bit so we will be moving to new hosting in the next few days so the site may be down for a little bit. Thanks for your patience while we move, it won't take long.

Tractor was put back together this morning, all done minus the PTO seal.  The rear fender had some bad damage but it straightened out pretty good.

Now on to the tiller.  Another mess I'm afraid to say...

Someone has also been in there before.  It looks like they took the large pulley off with a chisel then had to beat the daylights out of it to get it back on, they key was too short and they tightened it so tight it was almost cut in two.  There were only 2 seals in the tine shafts instead of 4, and the 2 seals that were in it are in backwards.  What an absolute mess.

At least no one replaced the idler pulley bearing so it went as expected.

It took a lot of time to get the pulley where it would slide all the way on and off by hand but it is done.   Included some pics of the seals that were in backwards, and pics of the shafts cleaned up and ready for the new seals.  All the bolts were spun free and new nylocks installed to make sure everything was tight.

I'm making a new tool to install the seals with tomorrow, been wanting to do it for a long time.  I'll put pics up of it when I get it done and the seals in.

Sorry so late, it's been really busy around here.  PTO seals came in a few days ago, and tiller seal tool is made, will put post of how tiller seal tool was made in the tool section.  PTO is done and set up, and tiller seals are in.  All that's left is to put the tines on.

Dennis is wrapped up and ready to go next week, what a job it turned into...     Not what we thought it would turn into for sure, but he has some god reliable equipment now for many years to come.
