I'm also getting ready for old man winter. Just finished blowing additional insulation in my attic. I purchased 16 bags of insulation from Home Depot and the machine to blow in the insulation was rent free for 24 hours. I fed the machine and my wife got in the attic and manned the hose. It took us about 2 1/2 hours, she needed a couple of water breaks. I know, I know, I should have been in the attic. She was afraid I would fall thru the ceiling ruining the sheet rock.

I worked on that tree by myself for 6 hours this afternoon and over half of it is still out there. I think it's about 2 months worth of wood for me.

My wife has been home now for about 3 weeks going on 4....doing much better...lost her pancreas..... Today I fired up a smoker we found for next to nothing....propane....and I smoked some salmon and venison. Never smoked salmon before. Salmon is excellent....and the venison is the best I ever did.....

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.
